To every season....
The colors of the season are subtly unnatural, soft, cool pinks; soft cool blues and silvers, but only as accent colors. Whether you work in the office, or the circus, a great colorist can taylor these trends to fit your needs. The expression of these colors can range from extremely sophisticated and elegant, to the ultimate in the genre of the eclectic, which, strictly speaking, is not a genre at all.
The average, order taking colorist will not be able to pull these trends off in your average salon visit. If you want to set trends, book by the hour (minimum 3hrs), in order to assure the time it takes to make these looks happen. Do you think supermodels have their cut, color and well placed highlights done in a 2 hour time slot??? Nope.

Victoria's Secret Fashion Show
If you're a Hair Stylist, or any other kind of stylist, the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show is the Super Bowl of world beauty. Not the Super Bowl of fashion like fashion week in New York, or Paris, or Milan, but these are the princesses of our time. Every Little girl wants to be one, and every man wants to date one. I'm fortunate enough to be dateting a woman as beautiful as any of these, and, trust me, it's a dream come true.
The hair in this show is simple. Long, with clean layers and natural colors; warmer at the root and cooler on the ends. Basic curl patterns dominate. Take your curling iron and curl away from your face on both sides.
If your Stylist is "an order taker", i.e. does exactly what you want, be cautious. I've been creating formulas for 20 years, and matching those formulae with eye color, skin tone, and the color of your hair when you were a child is more complicated than asking, " what do you want?".

"Perfecting your craft, makes you an artist"
I've spent the last 20 years of my life dedicated to making women look the best they can look. I've taken hair samples from true blondes, from true redheads, and from true brunettes in my quest to create perfect, natural color. I've spent many hours perfecting my formulas, many hours obsessing on seamless beautiful color, and it's no mistake that I became one of the best at reproducing the real thing. I had " a touch for color", but it takes endless hours of research, trial, and error, to acheive it. As my accomplished Father always said, " it aint bragging if you can do it".
