The colors of the season are subtly unnatural, soft, cool pinks; soft cool blues and silvers, but only as accent colors. Whether you work in the office, or the circus, a great colorist can taylor these trends to fit your needs. The expression of these colors can range from extremely sophisticated and elegant, to the ultimate in the genre of the eclectic, which, strictly speaking, is not a genre at all.
The average, order taking colorist will not be able to pull these trends off in your average salon visit. If you want to set trends, book by the hour (minimum 3hrs), in order to assure the time it takes to make these looks happen. Do you think supermodels have their cut, color and well placed highlights done in a 2 hour time slot??? Nope.
